PURPOSE:To simplify the structure, to facilitate the assembly, and to improve the reliability by storing the 1st magnetic head unit which has a recording magnetic head element part and a recording integrated circuit and the 2nd magnetic head unit for reproduction in respective cases, and jointing them mutually in one surface. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and the 2nd magnetic head units 2R and 2P have cases 3R and 3P, and plate bodies 3R1 and 3P1 and lid bodies 3R2 and 3P2 are made of a soft magnetic body with high magnetic permeability such as ''Permallyo'', i.e. plate material having magnetic shield effect. The lid bodies 3R2 and 3P2 are U-sectioned and respective end surfaces are adhered to internal surfaces of the plate bodies 3R1 and 3P1. The plate bodies 3R1 and 3P1 of those cases 3R and 3P have a recording magnetic head element part 4R and a playback magnetic head element part 4P adhered to their front ends and also have circuit substrates 7R and 7P with circuit parts at the rear parts. |
