<p>PURPOSE:To inform the abnormality of a number-of-rotation detection apparatus in an early stage, by comparing the output of the number-of-rotation detection apparatus connected to drive machinery with the number of rotations calculated from the output power of the generator driven by the drive machinery. CONSTITUTION:A gas turbine engine (drive machinery) 1 is driven by a generator 3 through a speed reducer 2 and a rotary speed controller 5 controls a fuel valve 6 on the basis of the number N of rotations of the engine 1 detected by a rotary speed detector 4. The number N of rotations is inputted to an automatic inspection apparatus 12 through the controller 5 and the output W of the generator 3 is inputted thereto through a power quantity detection apparatus 22. The automatic inspection apparatus 12 calculates the number of rotations of the engine 1 from output power W and compares the same with the number N of rotations by the detector 4 and displays abnormality when the difference between both of them is a predetermined value or more. By this method, because abnormality can be detected in an early stage, a fatal accident can be prevented.</p> |
