In a comparatively simple and robust manner - but with the possibility of different variations - a boring roller with discs, teeth, rods, picks and similar objects which autonomously strike as they roll or, being driven, strike and mill, is rotatably supported on an appropriate driven rotating eccentric. In this way, the assembly which is held on one or two sides - either balanced or unbalanced - can be used in various design shapes, as well as combined as a twin assembly, for boring/digging/slitting. |
