The subject matter of the invention is a catch device for power-operated windows, doors, gates, lifts or the like, with a worm wheel (17), connected to a winding shaft in such a way as to be fixed in terms of rotation, and two self-locking worms which are in operative connection with a drive shaft, one worm serving as working worm (4) and the other, idling worm as catch worm (8). In order to reduce the cost of construction and the weight of the catch device, it is proposed to design the working worm (4) as a globoid worm and the catch worm (8) as a cylindrical worm, to construct the worm wheel (17) as a cylindrical spur gear, to drive the working worm (4) and the catch worm (8) with a positive-locking wrap-around drive (6, 7, 16), to arrange the catch worm (8) between two stops (13, 14) which are fixed to the housing and to design the connection between the catch worm (8) and its drive pinion (16) as a predetermined breaking point. <IMAGE> |
