PURPOSE:To keep the fluctuation of panel surface temperature minimum and to obtain a uniform surface film to be applied by using warm air which is heated for the spraying air of a spray gun when applying paint to the surface of a panel of a cathode-ray tube by means of spray. CONSTITUTION:When applying paint 2 to the surface 15a of a panel of a cathode-ray tube 15 by means of spray, the paint 2 within a dispenser 1 is supplied to the nozzle of a spray gun 6 by means of high-pressure air which is supplied into a high-pressure air supplying pipe 3. On the other hand, high-pressure air which has been supplied to a high-pressure air supplying pipe 7 from the outside is decompressed to given high-pressure air by means of a control valve 8 and a regulating valve 89 to supply it to a pipe 10, and the high-pressure air which has been heated and controlled to given panel surface temperature to be a condition in spraying is supplied to the nozzle of the spray gun 6 through a flexible pipe 14 by means of a heater control unit 13. Accordingly, it is possible to make the fluctuation of surface temperature in the panel 15a of the cathode- ray tube minimum. |
