PURPOSE:To reduce the input of power to a compressor and enhance its reliability, by fitting an eccentric ring between the circumferential inside surface of a frame and the mirror plate of a rotary scroll so that the center of the mirror plate and the center of curvature of the peripheral surface of the eccentric ring are not coincident with each other. CONSTITUTION:The circular mirror plate 6 of a rotary scroll 2 is rotatable ring 14 is fitted between the frame 4 and the mirror plate 6 so that the center of the frame 4 and the center of curvature of the peripheral surface of the eccentric ring are not coincident with each other. As a result, although no Oldham's coupling is provided, the rotary scroll 2 can be revolved while being kept from rotating. Furthermore, the radial load of the scroll 2 is carried through the eccentric ring 14. This results in reducing the input of power to a compressor and enhancing its reliability. |
