摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To eliminate looseness of tape winding by setting a tape cartridge to DC motors and flowing a prescribed driving current to DC motors alternately for a prescribed time a prescribed number of times by a control part before the tape cartridge is set to a tape path mechanism part. CONSTITUTION:When tape reels 2 and 3 are set to driving DC motors omitted in the figure as shown by a solid line in the figure before a magnetic tape (a) is set to the read/write state indicated by a dotted line, a control part 13 outputs a signal which instructs a pulse generating circuit 15 to generate a pulse. The circuit 15 outputs a square wave to a motor driver 12 and outputs the square wave, which has the phase shifted by 90 deg. through an inverter 14, to a motor driver 11 by this signal. Drivers 11 and 12 apply a current for fastening torque of the tape (a) to driving DC motors. This current is controlled by the control part 13 so that the current having a value sufficiently larger than a current for tension to the tape (a) is flowed to them alternately for about 100ms. Thus, looseness of tape winding is eliminated.</p>
