PURPOSE:To carry out process annealing with high reliability by conducting the heat treatment of the welded joint part which is performed in the intermediate stage of manufacturing a pressure vessel with use of a partitioned temporary furnace and a high-velocity burner. CONSTITUTION:A partitioned temporary furnace 3 satisfying the annealing conditions of a circumferential welded part and its vicinity, when the process annealing of the circumferential welded joint part 2 of a thick-walled pressure vessel, etc. is carried out. The circumferential welded part is set so that the welded joint part 2 after being welded may be held between the partitioned temporary furnace 3 which is previously prepared from both sides, and an outside insulating material 6 in the axial direction of a cylindrical vessel 1 and inside partition walls 7 are then fitted by using previously prepared size, shape, frame materials, etc. High-speed hot air is then injected in the opposite directions from plural high-velocity burners 4 furnished to the temporary furnace 3. |
