<p>The invention relates to an apparatus for homogenising and suspending solids pulps in a tank, in particular slurries for fluidised-bed furnaces, the apparatus having one or more propeller-like agitator vanes and radially aligned, mounted at a distance thereto, stationary baffle plates. Moreover, it has a pneumatic and/or hydraulic start-up aid, which facilitates start-up of the agitator vanes in the case of sedimented solids.
