摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent air-fuel mixture from being excessively enriched even if re-racing is effected after restarting, by a method wherein fuel increase rate during acceleration is decreased after engine is stopped due to racing effected when an engine is at a low temperature. CONSTITUTION:A signal detected by an acceleration sensor 201 is inputted to a means 205 of correcting an increase in fuel amount during acceleration through a means 203 of increasing a fuel amount during acceleration and a signal detected by a temperature sensor 207, serving as a temperature detecting means for detecting the temperature of cooling water, is also inputted to the means 205. A reference fuel injection pulse in a computing means 217 is represented by, for example, Tp=KXQ/N, wherein Q is an intake air amount, N is the number of revolutions of an engine, and K is constant. A detecting signal from an engine stop detecting means 211 is inputted to an engine stop counter 219, the number of engine stop time counted by the engine stop counter is sent to the means 205 to determine a correction value of an increase amount during acceleration. The counter 219 is set to 0 each time an ignition key switch 209 is turned ON. A pulse width correction value is determined by a fuel injection pulse width correction means 221, and fuel is injected from a fuel injection valve 225 through a fuel injection valve driving means 233.
