PURPOSE:To obtain the best junction for strength, rigidity and repeated fatigue by irradiating an out-off focus beam into within a specified dimension from a joint surface, in case of joining an abutting surface of a sintered hard alloy and steel. CONSTITUTION:When joining a steel material 2 of 0.2%-0.5% carbon quantity and a sintered hard alloy 1, an object to be welded is rotated, an out-of-focus beam is irradiated to the sintered hard alloy side and the steel material side within a range of <=2mm from the joint surface, and a beam input corresponding to a penetration depth which is required at the stage of welding is irradiated to the joint surface 3. |
