PURPOSE:A two-layer type cosmetic that is composed of one layer containing a powder which is treated with an oily substance on its surface within a specific ratio and the other aqueous layer, thus giving cool feeling, showing good spreadbability and adhesion on skins without oiliness or greasiness, further resisting make-up collapse. CONSTITUTION:In the production of a two-layer type cosmetic which is com posed of a powder layer such as pigments, organic powder or pearl agent and of an aqueous layer, the powder is treated with an oily substance so that the weight ratio of the powder to the oily substance becomes 1: less than 0.1. The oily substance is preferably silicone oil and the surface treatment is carried out by spraying the powder with the oily substance or mixing the powder and the oily substance in a solvent, then evaporating off the solvent. The resultant cosmetic gives refresh and moist feeling and keeps uniform appearance, thus being used as foundation, cheek rouge, wettable powder, calamine lotion or eye shadow. |
