PURPOSE:The titled material for mirrors of automobiles, having a wide operating temperature range, low viscosity at low temperature, and low light percent transmission in dynamic scattering, comprising a (bi)phenylcyclohexane liquid crystal, cyclohexanecarboxylic acid ester liquid crystal, and a Schiff base liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION:The aimed liquid crystal material comprising (A) 40-60wt% phenylcyclohexane liquid crystal (preferably compound shown by the formula I, or II) and/or biphenylcylohexane liquid crystal (preferably compound shown by the formula III), (B) 10-30wt% cyclohexanecarboxylic acid ester liquid crystal (preferably compound shown by the formula IV), and (C) the rest of Schiff base liquid crystal [e.g., a mixture of 30wt% p-methoxybenzylidene-p'- butylaniline, 20wt% p-ethoxybenzylidene-p'-butylaniline, 35wt% p-ethoxyben zylidene-p'-hexylaniline, and 15wt% p-ethoxybenzylidene-p'-pentylaniline].
