A resilient synthetic plastics clip for attaching a channel shaped moulding to a support comprises a cup-shaped body portion 11 having a base 11 a and an annular wall 15 projecting upwardly from the base and a shank 12 projecting downwardly from the base, wherein the wallis undercut so as to engage the moulding and . is divided by a plurality of radially extending slots 19 into a plurality of flexible tonques 20. As shown the slots extend into the base of the body portion and the tongues are equiangularly spaced around the axis of the clip an odd number of tongues being provided whereby each tongue lies diametrically opposite a slot. The shank is tubular and a pin 14 adapted for insertion into the shank is provided to expand the wall of the shank outwardly. The pin is connected to the body portion by an easily frangible web of material. |
