A device for fixing on a printing machine cylinder a cladding (12) comprising at each of its two ends, respectively, a first hooking strip (14) and a second hooking strip (13), the fixing device, mounted in a longitudinal and radial groove (11) provided in the cylinder (10), comprising, on one hand, a rigid bar (1) made in a single piece and provided in the region of its outer zone (2) with shoulders (18, 19) adapted to retain the strips connected to the edges of the cladding, and, on the other hand, clamping screws (6, 7) radially extending through the bar in its lower zone (20) and being screwed in the cylinder, the bar (1) being adjustable in radial position inside the groove (11) of the cylinder (10) so as to ensure, by means of its shoulders (18, 19) and the clamping screws (6, 7), an adjustable tension of the cladding (12) on said cylinder (10), characterised in that the shoulders are arranged on the bar (1) in two series (18 and 19), namely one for each end of the cladding, and sufficiently radially offset to permit the hooking of the second strip (13) when the first strip (14) in its hooking position with the bar has already been at least partly introduced in the groove (11) of the cylinder. |
