PURPOSE:To prevent the dent generation of a product by arranging the axial core of a small bore roll with sliding to the inlet side against the axial core of a large bore roll. CONSTITUTION:The shaft core of small core side rolls 3, 4 is provided with sliding to the inlet side by the prescribed size G against the shaft core of a large bore upper and lower rolls 1, 2. The size G is made to the extent of the half of the distance between the line 5 connecting the large bore rolls shaft core and the point where the large bore rolls 1, 2 start the contact with the pipe. The size G is therefore decided according to the diameter of the rolls 1, 2. The non-symmetry of the contact of the pipe and large bore rolls 1, 2 and small bore side rolls 3, 4 is relaxed by arranging the small bore rolls 3, 4 before the large bore rolls 1, 2. With said method the dent generation of a product is prevented accordingly.
