PURPOSE:To disperse the external force from a frame body and to obtain a filter consisting of a knitted material capable of preventing the breakage of fabric base by forming a back pile in the range of 0.5-15mm from the fabric base in the opposite side to a pile for the filtration. CONSTITUTION:A bag filter 1 is obtained by knitting both a stitch forming the piles 1b for the filtration and a stitch forming the back piles 1c to a stitch forming the fabric bases 1a in the state wherein the piles 1b and 1c are mutually positioned in the opposite side. Each stitch consists of the synthetic fiber or natural fiber of 40-800 denier and is formed in density having 6-13 stitch per 1cm. The piles for the filtration are formed so as to elongate in the range of 0.5-10mm from the fabric base and the effective apperture is regulated to 0.5-500mum. The back piles are formed so that these are elongated in the range of 0.5-15mm from the fabric base.
