The invention relates to a two-leaf vertical sliding window with a frame, to the vertical members of which fittings are fastened, with stops which influence the leaf movement and/or bearings for cable support and/or guide rollers, the vertical frame members consisting of a closed hollow profile, in the inner wall of which, which faces the window opening, the guide grooves for the two leaves are arranged and the outline of the fittings, seen in the longitudinal direction of the profile, not exceeding the clear cross-section of a hollow profile chamber and the fittings being introduced into the hollow profile chamber in the longitudinal direction of the hollow profile and being locked in the transverse direction thereto inside the hollow profile.
