The contact regions, connection regions and internal connecting regions of a switch can be produced using mass-production methods in that a conductive flat element is produced, in the case of which the said regions are held together by bridging regions of the conductive flat element in the form of an integral unit. A plastic material is moulded onto the conductive flat element, so that the plastic material likewise holds the said regions together. The bridging regions are then cut out in such a manner that the individual switch contacts and switch connections are electrically isolated from one another. <IMAGE>
