The invention relates to a toboggan which can be folded up and is intended for the popular pastime of tobogganing. The aim of the invention is to develop a wooden toboggan which can be folded up, requires little expenditure in its production, has a simple construction, a high stability and long life, and makes possible simple erection and dismantling. The object of the invention is to be seen in the development of a wooden toboggan which can be folded up, requires no additional reinforcements between the legs and thus ensures problem-free erecting and dismantling and with few joints guarantees a high mechanical stability at minimum production expense. According to the invention, this object is achieved in that a pivot joint is arranged instead of the mortise joint between crosspiece (5) and leg (6), and crosspiece (5) and leg (6) are bevelled with respect to the seat surface (4) at angles of between 30 and 90 DEG and in the in-use state these bevelled surfaces bear against one another. <IMAGE>
