The invention relates to a Christmas tree stand having a bowl which is provided with feet and in which an upright point is arranged centrally, and having holding devices for a Christmas tree. In order to facilitate the insertion and fixing of a Christmas tree and to use the Christmas tree stand simultaneously as an advent bowl or an advent garland holder, the holding devices are mounted on the edge of the bowl and are designed as columns which are upright or inclined towards the centre of the bowl and on which short tubes are mounted, in which bolts which are mounted in a self-locking manner are displaceably arranged for lateral fixing and the feet are equipped with candle holders which are arranged at a distance from the bowl. <IMAGE>
