In the case of a device for potential-isolated signal transmission by means of optocoupling, in the case of which the light-emitting module has binary input signals applied to it, it is intended to supply large output amplitudes, to achieve short delay times for both signal changes and to achieve insensitivity to interference influences which change the current and voltage. This is achieved in that there are two light-emitting modules (DE1, DE2) of which the one has input signals applied to it which are in antiphase to those applied to the other, a light-sensitive receiver (DR1, DR2) is allocated to each light-emitting module, the light-sensitive receivers are connected in series between the terminals of a voltage source, and the output voltage (uA) is picked off in parallel with one light-sensitive receiver (DR2). <IMAGE>
