<p>PURPOSE:To improve travelling performance by applying differential torque between transmission members as relative rotary speed of transmission member increases. CONSTITUTION:Buffer oil is encapsulated in cylinder 50 then a piston 55 spline coupled slidably with a drive tube 52 is fitted slidably and rotatably in said cylinder 50 while cam mechanisms 56, 57 for applying reciprocal motion in axial direction onto the piston 55 with correspondence to relative rotation are arranged between the cylinder 50 and the piston 55 while furthermore restricting means 60 is provided to the piston 50. Consequently, relative motion will occur between two transmission members in differential unit and upon rotation of piston 55 through driving tube 52, the restricting means 60 will produce damping force to provide differential torque between the transmission members thus to suppress relative rotation of transmission members and to provide high travelling performance to the car.</p> |
