<p>PURPOSE:To forbit any starting motion in case of a parting brake being operated as well as to prevent seizure in a clutch and an inadvertent car start from occurring, by installing a detecting device which detects whether there is a lock in a parking brake lever or not. CONSTITUTION:A shifting actuator 17, a selecting actuator 18, a clutch actuator 19 and a fuel controlling actuator 20 are all driven on the basis of an instruction out of a microcomputer 21 via a driving device. In addition, the input side of the microcomputer 21 constituting an operational device of an automatic transmission is connected to a parking brake switch 30. With this switch 30, whether there is a lock in a parking brake lever or not is detected whereby any starting motion of a transmission 15 in case of a parking brake being operated is forbidden, thus damage to a clutch due to its slippage is prevented.</p> |
