PURPOSE:To obtain an information card with high density and high safety comparing with a magnetic card by recording information which will not need a change for the recording contents at the light recording part and recording information, which will need a change, at an IC recording part in the information card. CONSTITUTION:In the information card 1, the light recording part 3 and the IC recording part 4 are installed on a card substrate 2, and according to circumstances, a protective film 5 may be installed on a card substrate 2. As the card substrate 2, every material, which can be used as the usual card substrate, can be used. As the light recording part 3, the already known material can be widely used. The IC recording part 4 consists of an IC module in which an electric factor including as IC ship and a wiring circuit is unified, and the IC module is laid under the card substrate 2. An electrode for connecting with the external electric power source of the IC module is installed on the card surface. In this information card, for example, a seal pattern is recorded to the light recording part 3, and the changing item such as deposit balance is recorded in the IC recording part 4.
