PURPOSE:To prevent frequent speed change impact by disabling high speed stage when speed change frequency is higher than predetermined level. CONSTITUTION:Outputs from speed change command means 106 and a throttle opening sensor 110 are fed to speed change frequency detecting means 112 to produce an output which is fed to high speed stage disabling means 114 which is disabled if the speed change frequency is higher than predetermined level. When the speed change frequency between low and high speed stages will exceed over predetermined level, the car is operated in low speed stage to prevent inconvenience caused through frequent speed change impact while acceleration through low speed stage and engine brake can be utilized effectively. |
