PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency and the safety of the work of mounting an upper construction body on a part above a supporting frame by lading the upper construction body on the upper deck of a transporting boat, sliding the transporting ship to the position of the supporting frame of a marine construc tion, joining the end part of the transporting boat with a buoyancy base ship and finally sliding the upper construction body put on the upper deck. CONSTITUTION:For mounting a construction body on a marine construction, the construction body 20 is laded on the upper deck 3 of a transporting boat 1 and the end part of the transporting boat 1 is slid to a position above the jacket 40 of the marine construction. After a buoyancy base ship 10 is joined with the end part of the transporting boat 1, the construction body is carried to a position above the jacket 40 of the terminal point 3a of the upper deck by use of a trolley 9 which is moved on a rail 8 on the upper deck 3. With balast of the transporting boat 1 and the buoyancy ship 10 adjusted, the construction body 20 is lowered and put on the jacket 40. Since sufficient buoyancy can be ensured by the buoyancy ship 10, the mounting work can be performed easily.
