PURPOSE:To display a message without erasing a preceding display even if a new message exists while one message is being displayed by using plural display devices. CONSTITUTION:The presence of a newly incoming message is checked by the output of the newly incoming message detection section 21 of a display position designation circuit 13 from the output of a decoder 3, and when an output exists, a preceding flag 26 is set, the presence of an idle display is checked by an idle display detection section 23, and when an idle display exists, it is stored in a storage circuit 12 where the newly incoming message is assigned to set a display flag 25 and the stored message is displayed on the display device 11. The incoming message is stored on after another in the storage circuit 12 and also displayed on the display. When the storage circuit is occupied, since the idle display detection section 23 detects the absence of idel area, the storage circuit in which both the preceding flag 26 and a consecutive flag 27 are not set is designated by the operation of display position designation control, and the message incoming one after another is stored therein and the content of the display device 11 is revised. |
