PURPOSE:To improve the durability of reverse idler gear by employing a hollow shaft as reverse idler shaft while storing lubricant in the hollow section and feeding to the bearing section of reverse idler gear. CONSTITUTION:A hollow shaft is employed as reverse idler shaft 6 where one end section of said hollow shaft is extended then cut into two to be opened thus to store the lubricant splashed from the gear row of transmission into the hollow section of reverse idler shaft 6 and feed to the bearing 5 of reverse idler gear 4. Since burning or damage in central portion of bearing of reverse idler gear 4 due to insufficient lubricant can be prevented under reverse shift, the durability is improved.
