PURPOSE:To effectively carry out a multipage registration operation by continu ing a registrable condition unit a registration completion signal is transmitted from a remote terminal when a registration request signal is transmitted from the remote terminal to set the registrable condition, and making unable to register and image information from other remote terminal. CONSTITUTION:When a multipage registration command signal is inputted from a keyboard 14a of a remote terminal A2, a system control section 16a becomes a multi page registration mode. Then, at first, an image information of page 1 is registered in an image file section 12. Similarly, when all the image information is completed to be registered, a communication processing section 15a feeds a registration completion signal to a center 1 and a registration mode is released. In this manner, after the registration command signal is fed to a center 1 from a certain remote terminal, the center 1 responds only to the registration command signal from the remote terminal. Accordingly, during the multipage resistration, a correct multi page registration can be done without the image information from other remote terminal being registered.
