PURPOSE:To attain a touch operation with no close nor touch to the screen of a data display device by separating a touch panel terminal from the screen of the display device. CONSTITUTION:When a user puts his/her finger close to an operating screen of an operating part 7 of a touch panel terminal 6 and has a light touch with the screen, the data signal Sp sent from a transmission part 8 is received by a reception part 17 of a CRT5 set at a place separate from the terminal 6. A cursor is displayed on a CRT screen and set on an item to be selected by the user. Here the operating screen is pushed rather strongly with a finger. Thus the signal Sp is transmitted to the CRT5 from the terminal 6, and the CRT5 recognizes that the desired item is selected and sends it to a CPU16. The CPU 16 executes the prescribed processing, and the CRT5 displays the executed processing. Thus the user can obtain various data information without moving by means of a remote operation. |
