PURPOSE:To detect precisely a leading end of an effective screen with simple constitution by detecting the time when an electron beam passes through a stripe electrode. CONSTITUTION:A stripe electrode Sb connected to an index electrode Ib is provided closer to the horizontal scan start side than a stripe electrode Sa. Thus, when an electron beam is much closer to the horizontal scan start side than the electrode Sb, said electron beam is absorbed by the electrode Sb. When the electron beam passes through the electrode Sb and draws near to the electrode Sa, a detection signal is obtained from the electrode Sa. As a result, the point when an electron beam passes through the electrode Sa can be made precise in the receiver, and a white signal (WHT) and switch signals (SA and SB) can be generated properly from the detection signal. |
