PURPOSE:To carry out simultaneously the molding of a seat section and the fixing of the covering, and to obtain a product good in finishing without skill, by placing a covering material between a mold and a synthetic resin material when the blow molding is carried out. CONSTITUTION:A nonwoven sheet 13 that will become a covering 3 is placed between a synthetic resin material 11 and a surface side mold 15 and is temporarily attached to the surface side mold 15 by suitable means. A back side mold 14 and the surface side mold 15 are engaged and air is blown in a direction shown at an arrow (a) into the synthetic resin material 11 to heat the material 11. As a result, the material 11 is pressed to the molds 14, 15, and since the nonwoven sheet 13 is present between the material 11 and the mold 15, the sheet 13 is pressed to the mold 15 via the synthetic resin material 11. As the material 11 is heated and melted, the sheet 13 is fixed to the material 11 to provide a seat 1. |
