PURPOSE:To improve the displacement speed of an armature conspicuously by fixing the armature to a jump-over spring and driving the armature to be displaced according to the characteristics of the jump-over spring. CONSTITUTION:When an armature 35 is sucked and fixed to a magnetic polar surface 22a, a jump-over spring 34 effects an upward spring force. If a magnetic suction force is erased, the armature 35 is displaced and begins a return operation by a magnetic suction force between the armature and the magnetic polar surface 22a and an impact caused by the collision of the tip of a printing wire 37 with, for instance, a printing object such as paper. Then the armature 34 reaching its original position is sucked and fixed to the magnetic polar surface 22a. Accordingly, if the jump-over spring 34 is used, it is possible to displace the armature 35 at conspicuously high velocity without the use of an unnecessary large force. |
