PURPOSE:To enable secure state to be assured in the ramp device of a vessel allowing passage of automobiles, according to a method wherein the ramp end in stored state forces a turn table to follow it, being driven by the turning drive of the rotary table on a lower deck by aid of grasping force of a stopper plate and a side plate. CONSTITUTION:A rotary table 4 is supported with its shaft rotatable via a vertical shaft and a ramp 6 is supported, in front of said rotary table with its shaft rotatable via a lateral shaft, on the horizontal area of a vessel near a lower deck 1. On the other hand, a turn table 9 on which a pulley mechanism 10 for elevating a ramp is fixedly installed is rotatably pivoted to an upper deck 7, and a stopper plate 12 for stopping movement of the ramp end 11 in longitudinal direction P and a side plate 13 for stopping its movement in lateral direction Q during the process of storing the ramp 6, are fixed to said turn table 9. And at the time of turning drive of rotary table, the ramp end 11 in stored state forces the turn table 9 to follow it by means of grasping forces of both plates 12, 13 of the turn table 9. Thus, the ramp never shows any danger of fluttering even in stormy weather so that both safety and reduction of work time can be achieved. |
