The invention relates to a substituted benzyl-cyclo-alkenylamine of the formula (II) (II) in which X is a halogen atom or a lower alkyl group, and R1 is a cycloalkenyl group and to a process for preparing the above compounds of formula (II). The compounds are useful as intermediates in preparing fungicides.
