PURPOSE:To improve an electrodeposition property of electrodeposition zinc by leading-in a -COOH radical into a carbon plastic electrode. CONSTITUTION: A proper amount of pulverized powder of an ion-exchanging material having a -COOH radical is combined with a carbon plastic electrode material. Thereby, the -COOH radical is dispersed on the electrode surface while making to form covalent bond including ionic bond between this and zinc ions when charging for improving a close adhesion property between zinc and the electrode by said strong chemical bond for improving a cell property and especially Coulomb efficiency. The pulverized dithion-exchange fiber can be mentioned as a desirable example as pulverized powder while its desirable mixing ratio is 5-50(wt)% and the desirable particle diameter is 1-5mum.
