PURPOSE:To prevent an open left condition or a closed left condition of a window by a method wherein a window at the rear surface of a window type air conditioner is operated by an operation and stop switch for the air conditioner for the window opening or closing device. CONSTITUTION:When an operation switch 9a is depressed while a glass window 5a at the rear surface of a window type air conditioner 3 is closed, a driving motor 14 for the window opening or closing device 11 is operated to rotate a pinion 13 and the glass window 5a is released to open through a lack-type belt 12. In this case, a control unit counts the number of rotation of the driving motor 14 or an energization time and if the glass window 5a is released to open up to the desired position, the driving motor 14 is stopped. In this way, after the glass window 5a is released to open, either a cooling or heating operation for the window-type air conditioner 3 is carried out. When the stop switch 9b is depressed, the cooling or heating operation for the air conditioner 3 is stopped and then the motor 14 is rotated in a reverse direction and then the glass window 5a left open is closed. |
