PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain a stable rotary force by energizing in the prescribed sequence by the output of a position detector which outputs 2-phase position detection signals by detecting the position of salient poles to the first - the fourth exciting coils of an armature. CONSTITUTION:A rotational shaft 1 is rotatably supported to ball bearings 1a, 1b press-fitted to a cylindrical support 24. The poles 3a-3d of the armature 3 are spaced at 90 deg. from each other, and exciting coils 4a-4d are respectively mounted. Poles 3e-3h are spaced at 90 deg. from each other, and exciting coils 4e-4h are respectively mounted. A rotor 2 has salient poles 2a, 2b, and can be rotated oppositely to the poles 3a, 3b.... The coils 4a-4h are energized in the prescribed sequence by a position detection signal by coils 11, 11a, 11b, 11c. |
