<p>PURPOSE:To make outer parts unnecessary, and to obtain a stand-by mode exactly, by delaying the release of a stand-by signal, and making an address of RAM nonselective. CONSTITUTION:A CPU having a backup mode is constituted of a clock oscillator 4, a counter 10, an FF11 and an RAM14. In this state, the FF11 is reset by an output of the counter 10, the FF11 is set by a stand-by command signal, and its set output is led to an address selecting gate group 13 of the RAM14 and makes all addresses nonselective. Accordingly, even in the even of a malfunction in the circumference of the RAM, wrong writein is inhibited and contents of the RAM are protected.</p> |
