摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a dehumidification apparatus markedly reduced in the amount of regeneration gas and capable of being regenerated within a time nearly the same as a conventional one and useful for the treatment of radioactive gas, by dispersing a large number of dielectric particles throughout an adsorbent bed and providing an induction heating coil to the outer surface of an adsorbing tower. CONSTITUTION:For example, in the treatment of radioactive gas containing moisture, dielectric particles such as iron spheres are premixed with the adsorbent 1 of a dehumidification tower 8. Regeneration gas is introduced into a dehumidification tower 8 during a regeneration process from the lower part thereof and, at the same time, said tower 8B is heated by the induction heating coil 10B provided to the wall thereof to transfer heat to dielectric particles and the adsorbent 1 in the tower is uniformly heated by heat transfer to regenerate the adsorbent 1. The regeneration gas 5 containing moisture issued from the dehumidification tower 8B is mixed with wet gas 2 through a valve 9d to be guided to a cooler 4 and, after condensed water is separated by a moisture separator 6, said gas is dehumidified in a dehumidification tower A.</p>
