PURPOSE:To make fast the relative speed of fuel and air and to improve a substantial increase of characteristic of combustion by a method wherein fresh secondary air is blown under high speed to a combustion part where the air flow speed is decreased in such a way as it may cross at a right angle with a flow of flame. CONSTITUTION:A burner is operated, a part of the air flowed into the wind box enters a combustion cylinder as the primary air and directly contacted with and mixed with the injected fuel from a fuel injection nozzle. The primary combustion is carried out in the combustion cylinder and then the air is flowed into a furnace at the opening of the furnace while being in a partial incomplete combustion. In turn, a part of the air flowed into the wind box enters the secondary air conduit, is injected from the air supplying port toward the center part of the unburnt gas. Since the secondary air is injected into the central part of the unburnt gas in a substantial perpendicular to an axis of gas injection flow, a relative speed between the secondary air and the unburnt gas is increased, a direct contact between the air and the combustibles as well as their mixing may facilitate the combustion of fuel, and the burnt gas surrounding the furnace is struck against the inner annular pipe row wall opposite to the secondary air conduit, resulting in producing gas flows having opposite flow directions and flowing in such a manner as it slides on each of the inner annular pipe row walls and then merged at the opening 13. |
