PURPOSE:To activate an automatic answering telephone set by connecting the automatic answering telephone set to an incoming line in place of a transfer telephone set so as not to activate a transfer device when a transfer destination is absent in the telephone transfer device selecting the no transfer mode through remote control. CONSTITUTION:When a bell signal comes to a sender trunk line R2, it is detected by an incoming detection circuit 5, the detected output is fed to a control circuit 9, which activates a relay Rl3 to make a relay contact rl3. When a specific remote control signal comes to the line R2 from a transfer destination telephone set succeedingly, a remote control signal is detected by a remote control signal detection circuit 6. Further, the control circuit 9 uses a signal of the detection circuit 6 to give an output to an incoming detection circuit 3 and a changeover relay Rl4 is energized, then a changeover relay Rl4 is switched to connect the automatic answering telephone set to the line R1.
