<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a semiconductor device containing plural elements which is easily mass-produced in a simplified production process, by enveloping a light-coupling element, in which a light-emitting element and a light-receiving element are arranged facing to each other, with its peripheral circuit elements enveloped with light-shielding resin separated one from the other. CONSTITUTION:A photo-coupler 8 which is made by arranging a light-emitting diode and a photo-trasistor facing each other, and by molding their surroundings with transparent resin, and a stack 9 which is made by molding the circumfer ence of the stack chip with resin are tested separately and then, the good products are set on a lead frame 11, and the leads 10 undergo spot welding 12, the shadowed portion 13 is cut. The whole portion is enveloped with light- shielding resin 14. The two elements 8 and 9 are combined together after being tested separately, thereby allowing a mass-production.</p> |
