PURPOSE:To attain drive control with different accuracy suitable for the state of a plant by outputting a pulse having an optimum pulse width in response to the state of plant at that time at each final control element and controlling the drive of each final control element. CONSTITUTION:A plant equipment operation timing discrimination circuit 2 inputs a plant state quantity (a) from a power generating plant 1, discriminates the operating timing of a plant equipment to calculate an object (b) and a control constant of a cange rate (c). A process output quantity converting circuit 3 calculating a process output quantity (d) from the values (b), (c) and the state quantity (a) is provided, and an optimum pulse converting circuit 5 calculates an optimum pulse clock width (f) and a pulse output number (g) based on the output qantity (d) and an operation characteristic data (e) of a data base 4. A pulse signal (h) is outputted from an output circuit 6 by using the output number (g). In this case, a pulse output circuit diagnostic circuit 8 diagnoses the circuit 6 by using the width (f), the output number (g), an external timer, a count start signal (i), a count end signal (j) and an output end signal (k) of the circuit 6. |
