发明名称 CONTROL OF IGNITION TIMING
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve driving feeling and fuel consumption by a method wherein ignition timing lag angle correction under sudden acceleration is effected only when knocking is generated upon accelerating an engine suddenly in and out of knocking control area. CONSTITUTION:In the engine, in which a basic ignition advance angle is operated by an electronic control circuit 34 in accordance with the amount Q of suction air and the revolving number N of the engine, which are obtained by the outputs of an airflow meter 2 and a rotating angle sensor 32, the knocking is detected by a knocking sensor 18 and the sudden accelerating condition of the engine is detected by a throttle sensor 22. When the engine is in the knocking control area, the ignition timing is determined by subtracting the sum of a correcting lag angle amount upon detecting the knocking and the sudden acceleration correction amount upon sudden acceleration from the basic ignition advance angle. On the other hand, when the engine is out of the knocking control area, the ignition timing is determined by subtracting only the sudden acceleration lag angle amount from the basic ignition advance angle only in case the knocking and sudden acceleration are detected.
