PURPOSE:To obtain film, which is excellent in heat shrinkability so as to be able to favorably cover a dry cell assembly and has favorable sack breaking strength at low temperature and blocking resistance at high temperature by a method wherein film consisting in adding plasticizer and MBS resin to PVC (polyvinyl chloride) at the specified ratio is employed. CONSTITUTION:The titled film consists of composition containing 8-18pts.wt. of plasticizer and 8-15pts.wt. of MBS resin to 100pts.wt. of polyvinyl chloride resin. The shrinkage factor of the film at 100 deg.C is 10-20% in one direction and 48% or above in the direction normal to said direction. At the same time, the thickness of the film is 20-30mum. General purpose DOP (dioctyl phthalate), DOA (dioctyl adipate) or the like is employed as the plasticizer, the amount of which is used as small as possible as for as favorable packaging appearance is obtained. Because the resultant lowering of the strength is compensated by the addition of the MBS resin, no blocking is developed and consequently enough practical strength is obtained. |
