PURPOSE:To perform a winding operation by constant speed and constant tension without using a dancer roller or a displacement detector by controlling an induction motor IM by the constant output operation merely by detecting the rotating speed of the IM. CONSTITUTION:The rotating speed (n) of an induction motor IM 10 for driving a winding roll is detected by a PG (pulse generator) 11. A calculator 12 calculates and outputs a slip S of the IM 10 from the rotating speed (n) and a synchronous speed (n0). A constant-output voltage calculator 13 calculates a function A of a slip S with a constant alpha as a parameter by using the preset constant alpha and the slip S. The thyristor of a voltage controller 14 is phase- controlled by a phase controller 15. Accordingly, the variation in the slip S of the IM 10 is detected, and the terminal voltage V of the IM 10 is controlled in response to the variation. As a result, the IM 10 can be controlled by the constant output. |
