PURPOSE:To efficiently separate fine particles from exhaust air, by respectively providing the spindle-shaped casing connected to a supply pipe and an exhaust pipe provided therein on the same axis as the casing in specific arrangement. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of air and solid particles advancing through a supply pipe 2 while revolving around the center line of said pipe 2 at a high speed enters a casing 1 and advances toward the leading end opening of an exhaust pipe 6 at a high speed through the central parts of an enlarged cone 3 and an intermediate cylinder 4. Solid particles are discharged to the outside of this high speed revolving stream by centrifugal force acting at this time to reach the inner surface of the enlarged cone 3 and accelerated by the component force directed to the intermediate cylinder 4 while revolved along the inner surface of said cone 3 to advance along a spiral orbit and enter a contracted cone 5 along the inner surface thereof. Subsequently, the solid particles enter a collection box 7 from the terminal gap of the contracted cone 5 while decelerated but air, from which solid particles were removed, is guided to the outside of the system from the leading end opening 6a of the exhaust pipe 6 positioned at the part of the intermediate cylinder 4.
