REMOVAL OF SEA SALT PARTICLE IN AIR

摘要

PURPOSE:To facilitate the maintenance of a filter, by a method wherein air containing sea salt particles is humidified and subsequently reduced in humidity under cooling to condense sea salt particles with a large particle size while sea salt particles with a small particle size is increased to be passed through an air filter. CONSTITUTION:Air containing sea salt particles is guided to a gas-liquid contact apparatus where salt-containing air is contacted with water to be humidified while humidified air is cooled in a cooling apparatus to condense sea salt particles with a large particle size in mist like sea salt particles to convert the same to a liquid form and sea salt particles with a small partial size are formed into large particles by the increase in relative humidity due to cooling. The treated air is subsequently sent to an air filter to remove remaining sea salt particles.
